Summer Swim Lessons Start this Week – Register Now
We are celebrating over 25 years of teaching children and families how to swim along with water safety skills! Thank you to our community for your support.  Let’s continue to partner together to reduce accidental drownings!
2019 American Academy of Pediatrics Revised Statement: “All children should learn to swim, and children and teens should wear life jackets while near open bodies of water.  Teens can learn CPR and other water safety skills.” (www.aap.org)
*Parents and Caregivers should never leave children alone or in the care of another child while in or near bathtubs, pools, spas, or other open water.(www.aap.org)
*Avoid inflatable swimming aids such as “floaties”. They are not a substitute for approved life jackets and can give children and parents a false sense of security. (www.aap.org)
*Everyone should learn to swim – participation in formal swim lessons can reduce the likelihood of childhood drowning death by 88% (www.aap.org)
