At Second Chance Foods our mission is to elevate the health of people and planet by recovering nutritious food before it goes to waste -and- delivering it to the tables of hungry families in the Hudson Valley, NY.
Unlike other food rescue organizations, our dedicated volunteers and staff work with grocery stores and local farms to bring more fresh, healthy, and nourishing foods to those in need. We also reduce food waste by cooking twice a week and preserving produce before it has a chance to spoil.
Passionate volunteers create these meals and many others in our kitchen to make healthy eating easy and delicious! Our network of food pantries and soup kitchens ensure they reach families and individuals in need.
